Thank you. Time seems to be moving slowly about now, but DW set me to doing chores. :-}

Time moving at a normal pace again yet? ;-D

I'm soooooo happy! Yaaay Obama! ;-D

I am moderately happy. We have thrown out an administration that, IMHO, has been behaving badly in some cases because they can.

I fear they have left the next administration with problems that have no good solutions. I wish them luck in finding the best possible solutions.

I am not very far left, myself, and, I must admit, don't particularly look forward to unchecked Democrats. But I don't care for the group that has taken control of the GOP and don't trust them with anything.

I'm apparently as far left as you can get. ;-)

But yeah, I don't envy the new administration/Congress their problems.

On the other hand, I have complete trust in Obama to do what I would do in any given situation and to do his best. I don't know why.

I'm apparently as far left as you can get.Did you vote for Nader in '00? I'm one who holds those people partially responsible for the excesses, fiscal, legal, and international, of the last 8 years, although if a state didn't go for Bush by a small margin, that wouldn't apply to that state. And the responsibility was shared by bad polling practices and by Democrats not being on top of their job enough to counter them. VT, to the left of everyone except DC, just re-elected a Republican governor, at least partly because the Left doesn't play well with others, particularly other Left. If Palin hadn't bombed, we might have seen that with the PUMAs. But, also, he is a reasonable governor, and people realize that, but, IMHO, he needs better energy policies ( ... )

No, I didn't vote for Nader. I probably overstated that a bit, I'm as far left as a Democrat gets probably. But as far as McCain's attacks on Obama were concerned -- I actually wouldn't mind any of those things (redistribution of wealth, universal health care, etc.).

Like whom?

I probably am a middle of the road leftie. I do tend to like getting along with the rest and compromise. ;-)

I think Nader and others complaints about similarities in the way the Dems and the Reps do business probably have merit. But in a democracy, one has to have a working majority. So, while I agree with some of his charges, I don't agree with his methods.

We've been having a redistribution of wealth. The ratio between the top earners and the bottom ones has steadily increased over the years of trickle-down economics. And what we have is trickle-down economic disaster. I could do with a halt to that redistribution of wealth. :-} And rotted fabric in the golden parachutes ( ... )

Hee hee, yeah, we'll see on the politics, and I'm happy to stop blathering on about it. :-)

Did you see the picture I put up? My son is the cutest thing ever! ;-D

I'm glad you're enjoying the questions. I haven't sent out a new one because I feel the Chalion question is still engendering a lot of discussion. And no matter what I say about discussion on the old questions continuting, after I throw a new one, it does peter out on the current one. So I'll probably just send a new one out on Monday. :-)

Any requests?

Interesting ideas about The Hallowed Hunt. I really do wonder what might happen there, though I don't think I've thought about it as much as you have! :-)

Did you see the picture I put up?

Yes, I did. Beautiful picture of a wonderful child! I've enjoyed the other pictures you have posted, too. I meant to say something at the time, but was skimming through FL in a rush. One advantage of responding to comments is that I can always (well, almost always) find the comment notification email when I have time.

I do enjoy the questions. Haven't had time recently to read all the responses, much less contribute. And I hate to post if I'm not up on my reading. But the List has been very busy of late, much of it on topic, and that latter is largely due to you! My time will clear up, presently, and I keep the emails on gmail, which is very useful for searching.

Thanks! we think he's amazing, but he's ours. :-)

Yeah, I've been posting the questions, but I don't always have time to participate, though I have been mostly keeping up with the discussions.

I do think it's nice to have lots of ontopic chat onlist. I'm not always interested in the offtopic stuff, though sometimes I am. I tend to be more generally interesting in the ontopic. Plus, I think it makes Lois more happy. :-)

Ouch! (Just read your LMB note about your son's broken toe.) Ouch, ouch. Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery!

Thanks, he's already doing much better by today.

I'm more worried about him than he is by far. ;-)
