20. "Put Some Alcohol on It" by Gord Bamford
I like silly songs and I like drinking songs. Need I say more?
19. "Let Me Introduce Myself" by Carolyn Dawn Johnson
As an English major, I liked how she personified love.
18. "Southern Voice" by Tim McGraw
I like all the different references listed. Plus, baseball was mentioned.
17. "The Man I Want to Be" by Chris Young
Even though I don't like sappy songs, there is something sweet in this song and how he wants to change, and not just because he wants the girl back.
16. "Why Don't We Just Dance" by Josh Turner
This is just a fun song. The video is fun too.
15. "Come Back Song" by Darius Rucker
I like Rucker's kind of background theme of 'yeah I know everyone sings this kind of song, but sorry, I had someone leave me too.'
14. "Voices" by Chris Young
I like this idea of the advice we have been given never leaves us.
13. "Hillbilly Bone" by Blake Shelton w/ Trace Adkins
Once again, I like silly songs. But also, I like this idea that being country isn't where one's from, but his/her attitude. I'm a sucker for "this is what country means" songs.
12. "History in the Making" by Darius Rucker
I like the idea of "the last first". And we never do know when they will happen until long after we can fully appreciate them as such.
11. "Smoke a Little Smoke" by Eric Church
I just adore Eric Church. I have ever since I saw him as an opening act long before anyone had ever heard of him.
10. "As She's Walking Away" by Zac Brown Band w/ Alan Jackson
I love the line "When your heart won't tell your mind to tell your mouth what it should say."
09. "Turn on Your Radio" by Reba McEntire
I love the songs where the musicians play with the idea of us listening to them on the radio (or other people).
08. "A Little More Country Than That" by Easton Corbin
See my comment for "Hillbilly Bone".
07. "Pretty Good a Drinking Beer" by Billy Currington
I like drinking songs. And silly songs. And just this whole idea about how people can be good or bad at drinking; although I'm sure many people can also relate to the idea of not being good at anything profitable.
06. "American Saturday Night" by Brad Paisley
I adore Brad Paisley. I love how he shows all the different cultures which have found their way into American culture.
05. "Hell on the Heart" by Eric Church
I like how this is a love song/a women are so confusing song, but at the same time, there's something cute about the attitude of "Yeah, they may put us through some crap from time to time, but we'd be so much worse without them."
04. "This is Country Music" by Brad Paisley
I love how he spells out what country music is. What it means to be country music. Almost like a personification, or a definition.
03. "Anything Like Me" by Brad Paisley
I like self-inflection songs.
02. "Do I" by Luke Bryan
This is the epitome of fandom songs for me. It applies to all of my favorite couples in all of my fandoms.
01. "That's How I Want to Go Out" by Deric Ruttan
I heard this song for the first time driving to work the other day, and I wanted to cry; and I say that as someone who does not get emotional over songs.
Honorable mention goes to "Farmer's Daughter" by Rodney Atkins, mostly because it was on my list, and I forgot about it and thought I was missing a song, and now it's just far too late for me to edit it in.
Completed due to urging per
litlover12. Thank you :). It was fun. However, I do not have the time to search for the videos. I decided instead to spend that time on the bits of commentary.
