Dooku is finally ready to go deal with the Palpatine issue...he's been here for long enough, got several plans, backup plans, etc. in order. He's also seen to it that Obi-Wan will...at least keep Bonzo from getting killed, hopefully. And he's said his farewells. So he's walking through the door to the Temple when he hears a voice coming up

As continuity would have it, there's a young Jedi passing through the dormitories on his way from his own training session to somebody else's. His Padawan's braid has recently been shorn, but his hair hasn't grown enough to make it obvious, at range, that he's no longer an apprentice.

He seems a little distracted, focused on his destination. If he doesn't run into the new arrivals, it'll only be because the Force guides him around them. Or because one of them gets his attention, perhaps.

Dooku glances out the door, and notices Obi-Wan walking by. Let's get this going. "Come with me, Bonzo. And do try not to lose your patience so visibly like you did with Corran." And with that, he walks out, Bonzo following. And thank the Force you were in your robes or you wouldn't at least have the benefit of blending in.

"Mast...er...Obi-Wan, could I have a word with you?"

"Hm?" Obi-Wan at first thinks the familiar voice is addressing an actual Master, until he hears his name. That snaps him out of his reverie enough to let him recognize the voice. "Master Dooku! Of course you could!" He notices the strange human male. "I hadn't heard that you'd taken on an apprentice yourself. I don't believe we've met."

Dooku nods. "I did not too long ago." Pause. "This is Bonzo Madrid, my new padawan." And a comment about Sith having apprentices does slide past the corner of Dooku's mind, but it's...somewhat irrelevant, so he tosses it.

Bonzo, however, nearly freezes on the spot. Older Obi-Wan? That was normal. But this was something like running into your grandfather and seeing him like he looked in his wedding picture or something. It's just so...strange. He just forces autopilot on, shoves the panic aside, and slips into standard ettiquite, bowing. "I am honored, Master."

Once Anakin and Bonzo are far enough away from the conversation, the younger boy turns to the older one. "So where are you from?"

Bonzo simply blinks for a second at seeing Ani walk up; just after that, he gets it through his head that this is not Ender when the teachers forgot to give him a haircut for a few too many weeks; this is just...Jaina's and Ben's and Anakin's grandfather. All of those thoughts get shelved just as Anakin is introduced to him, however.

"A planet called Earth. It's somewhere off in the Outer Rim, I think." Pause. "It's very backward; not many people have heard of it. Where are you from?"

And as they're walking along, it dawns on Bonzo that his feet aren't reaching as far as they probably ought to as he walks. Ok...looks like I lost even more height when I came in.

"I'm from Tatooine. At least, that's the first place I can remember living. It's on the Outer Rim too, but I never heard of Earth. It must be really backward, even for the Rim."

Bonzo nods. "Don't even have hyperdrive yet."

Obi-Wan and Dooku approach their apprentices. "Well, Bohn-So, how are you and Ani getting on?"

Bonzo turns to face Obi-Wan, and smiles. "Very well, Master."

"I'm glad to hear." And there is some relief on Dooku's part. Maybe Bonzo can fit in long enough for him to figure out how to handle this situation? "And how did you enjoy meeting Bonzo, Anakin?"

And why are we asking eachother's Padawans how they liked meeting our own and not the other way around? Dooku does smirk at that thought.

"It was pretty keen. Is his home planet really on the Outer Rim? 'Cuz it sounds to me more like it's somewhere in the Unknown Regions."

"Ani!" Obi-Wan blurts. "Be nice!"

"Sorry." Ani looks at the floor for a moment. "It's just... they don't have hyperdrive, they don't even have repulsorlift. I guess they can't help it, but still."
