Better Today
So I'm feeling much better today. I'm not sure why, nor do I really care. Adam Durtiz says, "Things are getting worse but I feel a lot better and that's all that really matters to me." I guess I feel that way really. However, I don't know if it's that things are getting worse or that they're just staying the same. Either way, I'm feeling okay today and that really is all that matters to me.
We recently got back from our vacation in Florida. We were gone for 10 days and it really was amazing to be completely out of the world I know. I didn't have to worry about things and I didn't have to go to school or to work or even think about those things. It was like a vacation from life and it was much needed. Anyway, we had a great time and ate a lot! Pictures from my vacation are on facebook if you're interested.
The day we got back from vacation Pink, Cloyce and I went to the Goo Goo Dolls/Counting Crows concert. It was so great! Goo Goo Dolls played some from their new album which I'm not very familiar with, but they played some old, old ones and that was the most exciting part. They even did "Name" which is very, very old and definitely played to an old heart like mine. Of course they played Iris which, as usual, brought tears to my eyes. The Counting Crows sang ALL old stuff I'm sure because they don't have a new album out. However, that is exactly what I like. They sang mostly songs from their August and Everything After cd which is MY FAVORITE! I knew all the songs and all the words and annoyed my company greatly. It was wonderful!
Other than that, I've just been working. There were minimal disasters in the three days I've been back there since my trip and that is good.
Thanks to those of you who have extended words of kindness to me lately. It means more to me than I will ever be able to tell you. You all mean the world to me and I am so blessed to have you in my life.
