Ron Paul won a straw poll sponsored by the West Alabama Republican Assembly with 216 votes. Mitt Romney came in second with 14 votes.

Ron Paul also won the New Hampshire straw poll with 73%, 206 votes to Mitt Romney's 26 votes.
