Rain, rain go away

Today kind of sucked. We were suppose to be busy, but guess what? It was raining and not warm all day. That means I shot three dips, had lunch, and went home early. I believe that I am not going to have any vacation time left come summer. I am so use to leaving as soon as I get done shooting that the last thing I want to do is stand around counter and mope. I don't get holidays off so I might as well leave early on crappy days, right?

Baby dolphins are adorably, painfully cute. I can't stand it. When I leave, I'm going to miss them terribly. And that knowledge has probably kept me on a lot longer than I ever should have stayed. The knowledge of how much I am going to miss the place when I leave already hurts and I'm nowhere near leaving yet. Scares the crap out of me. I guess I'll just have to get some form of pet. But dolphins, so cute!

Reasons why I should leave? Because when it was raining and the heater was broken in the cabana, I shivered so bad during the next dip that I easily could have been mistaken for having Parkinson's. And just when my body had warmed up the water in my wetsuit to a level that brought my shivers down to a level manageable by careful breathing, my battery died. And all our leads were shooting. And the bag wasn't on the beach. And Lance couldn't find the bag in POSH. So then I had to run out of the water, into POSH, change my battery and get back in the water. I promptly started shivering even worse than before. If someone had looked at me under water it would have looked like I was moving around my knees were shaking so bad. And when I got out, I could barely put two words together. That sucked.

Another reason? After three months of wearing double wet suits, I was getting phantom pains in my arms even when I wasn't wearing a wet suit. And the wetsuits? They are always wet, or smelly, or they don't have your size. Nothing like squeezing into a skin tight neoprene suit two sizes two small. Let me tell you about the bruises I had on my arms that day! Not to mention that breathing what kind of difficult.

Alright, that's all for that.

Troy got a job where he has to wear a tuxedo. And white gloves. All this to a man who hates to dress up. But damn, he looks good in that tux!

Baby dolphins!

Fin.
