Happy August!
Wow, it's been a couple months and a lot of shit has gone down since my last post.
I got into a fucking car accident three days after I posted last, insurance said they wouldn't repair it because the car is worth less than the repairs, so they sent me a check for $1994 (less 500 deductible) would have been 2400 something)instead. Yeah we are getting most of our money back but I CANNOT FUCKING DRIVE A CHECK.
I'm so pissed that I haven't been able to replace it either, at least we have the Zipcar to get us by whenever we need a quick ride. I don't feel TOO crippled now. Ha.
I was grateful the insurance also paid for a rental car 2 weeks worth to help me adjust. Got a black VW Beetle which helped us get to Indy for Days of the Dead con :).
But there is also super-mega-fun-happyness coming up this week as well :D. Today begins concert week!!!!! Tonight is the Paul McCartney show at Wrigley Field WOOOHOOOO!!!! I will be in the same zipcode as a Beatle hahahahaha :D!
And last but not least (OMGYESYESYESYES) Arctic Monkeys are coming to town for two YES TWO gigs this coming weekend AND I AM ATTENDING BOTH!!!!!! OMG I cannot WAIT, gonna leer at hot boys wit h British accents see my favorite band in the whole wide world two times in less than 24 hours!
In a nutshell, even tho life is sometimes crap, I am still stoked for good things to happen. :)
P.S. The new AM album "Suck It And See" is amazing!
