This Past Weekend In A Nutshell
Thursday = Boring. Went to get Jack Lumina's oil changed, then out to dinner at Pita Inn. Was planning to go see Jumper at 9:50 pm but we had gotten a late start for dinner so a decision had to be made - hunger or movie. Hunger won out so we decided to just go eat and come back home.
Friday, we slept in a bit. I then got up and did a bit of laundry and a sinkful of dishes. Greg decided that he wanted German food and I thought that was a capital idea so we went over to Laschet's Inn.We managed to score rock star parking in front of the place! Greg and I had gone there a couple weeks ago with some friends and the food was very good but oh my goodness I tried the Allgauer Cheese Spaetzle with a side of their warm pickled red cabbage and it was amazing! Picture a huge plate of spaetzle covered in cheese and onions, baked....I wish it wasn't only a Lenten dish!

We decided (against our better judgement) to make it a casino night so we decided to go and try out a different place, the Grand Victoria Casino. It was a nice place, and we liked the fact that it was completely nonsmoking (yay state law) AND the security dude carded me! He even looked at me like he couldn't believe that I was much older than I looked, yay! However, the slots were not kind to us :P. We might possibley go back but not for awhile.
The rest of the weekend was pretty quiet, Pita Inn again on Saturday and McNasty's on Sunday for dinner, spent all day Sunday sleeping and trying to recover from the shittiness that is the Daylight Saving Time time change.
