Friday and Saturday
Friday was a mildly quiet day compared to the day before. Car started fine, no flat tires...all is right with the world. We kinda laid around the house becos Greg was off work and we hadn't had much quality time in a while so ipso fatso, there ya go. About six-ish or so we got kinda hungry so we set out to Safari Land to eat something and play video games. I had some spaghetti marinara and Greg had the chicken parmigiana and we shared an order of mozzarella sticks. I've actually been semi-good this Lent, with the exception of accidentally eating a turkey sandwich in the wee hours of Ash Wednesday morning, I haven't broke the no-meat rule on Friday and hadn't eaten any red meat at all because I had given that up for Lent. I dunno why I am bothering with Lent this year, I hadn't followed it in years. However I am seeing this as more of a willpower thing than a religious duty so I am gonna try and stick it out :).
Today was sleepy time day, I slept til eleven am, got up and fixed us some waffles and turkey sausage for brekkie then I must have passed out because next thing I knew, it was three in the afternoon. We then spent the rest of the afternoon watching reruns on Me-TV and part of the Super Bowl that we taped last weekend so we could see the commercials. So far our favorite was the Bridgestone commercial where the guy was gonna run over Richard Simmons lol. I also had the pleasure of talking to my ghoul-fiend crystalgee on AIM tonite, is always good to catch up with her :D.
Not sure what is up for Sunday, probably will fix dinner for Greg at home. I just gotta decide what. I'm finally done updating (for now...there is more to be said heh) so I'm gonna go sleepies!
