I'm sleepy, my ass hurts and I forgot to post about last weekend :P

Man, I think I am a big ol' lightweight when it comes to alcohol...just took a sip of the little bit of Smirnoff vodka screwdriver that was left in the fridge and I'm starting to feel a lil numb :).

Well anyhooo...last Thursday began with lunch at Wah Sun for the usual Mongolian Chicken and Almond Chicken specials. Afterwards we had to make a quick stop at the bank then went home to get ready for our ghost tour! Since my count_gregula is so special, we got the honor of a free trip on the Weird Chicago tour bus! The normal tour usually takes their patrons on a ride to some of the most notorious, weirdest and spookiest locations that Chicago has to offer. Since we went on a Thursday nite, we had the pleasure to partake in the "Ghost Hunter's Special" which concentrates more on the spooky sites. Our tour guide Ken was even nice enough to come to our house to pick us up because we happened to live in his area. The tour itself was fun, and Ken was very knowledgable about the sites we visited which included the site of the Iriquois Theatre fire (now the Oriental Theatre), the Eastland disaster, Tonic Room, Liars Club and the basement of Old Town Tatu tattoo parlor which was once a funeral home and still had some of the rooms where the creamatorium once was. I think we even got an orb in one of our pics but I need to upload them and take a look for sure.

Friday we went to the Jewelry Fashion and Accessories show in Schaumburg, ate some soup and shakes at Steak N' Shake then met up with our friends Deonna and Erik at Country House restaurant in Clarendon Hills. Yep, managed to travel 100 miles in one day :). Greg had a buffalo burger and I had the most delicious veggie pasta meal covered in olive oil and romano cheese *homer drool*. I didn't drink that nite but kept swiping sips of Greg's Christmas Ale by Anchor Brewing, yum yum.

I'm sleepy now and am going to bed, talk to you guys in the morning...hopefully I'll get the car back early enough to do something fun! Yeah, I'll talk more about THAT in my next post...
