Relief...and a meme
I hadn't posted about this, but I was really worried when I found out that my brother's cat Shadow had ran away :(. I felt bad cos she is Paul's favorite cat...but I got an e-mail last night saying that they found her *YAY*. She had been hiding in the basement, poor little girl so I am completely relieved!
That reminded me of the time years ago when my little doggie Pepper disappeared. I was frantic trying to find him as he was still a puppy...I had even made up some flyers when my Mom found him hiding up in the attic. Turned out that he was able to climb stairs but he was too afraid to walk down cos he was very small. He was dirty and scared and I was glad to see him!
In other happy news, Greg got this guy Carroll to work for him this Sunday and Halloween Day. That is a major relief as two more of his vacation days are covered! Now maybe some of the at-home stress will be gone and I can spend more time on LJ (you lucky people) than fretting about personal things.
