Friday Night
Holy SHIZNIT did we have a good time!!!
First Greg count_gregula and I went shoplifting erm...shopping at Wally World to see about getting a new shirt and he found the most awesome black bowling shirt with beige and white stripes down the front. He also bought a short sleeved shirt in black as well, now my man be stylin, yeeehah!!!
After we were done we went straight to Branka evil_b_13's house to watch some George Carlin videos and eat potato chips as Greg and I hadn't eaten anything all day and when we arrived at her house Branka was bearing gifts of clothing for me :) I was like awwwww that is SO nice! She had gotten me the most awesome low-cut top with lace cap sleeves in black which accentuated my "assets" hehe and a nice black button down shirt to wear over it as a jacket and she even got me another top (incase the first one didn't work out) with a v-neck and bell sleeves which was so gorgeous too...and she was SO nice, she let me have both tops as a gift...love ya for it *mwah*! When Greg saw me in the new boobielicious top he was like *WHOA* I thought his eyes were gonna fall out of his head and he said that I wasn't allowed to leave the house lmao I love him so :X:X. I even got some silver bangles to wear as well :)! Branka also had new clothes for the occasion, she was wearing a black corset-laced strapless top with a black jacket over it and she looked great too! Well anyhoo, after the excitement of new clothes we went downstairs to have Mexican coconut soda and watch an old George Carlin HBO special on DVR which I could tell it was from the 80s cos of the obvious fluffy hair on the girls in the audience, heh. We watched the video for about 45 minutes and then it was time to go eat at the Elmwood Restaurant where we all shared a plate of saganaki (flaming cheese) and enjoyed a nice meal and conversation. When I got up to go to the ladies room I got quite a few stares from some of the old farts in the restaurant because of my neckline, haha. I ended up covering myself because it was so disconcerting lol!
Then it was time to go to the Rosemont Theatre to see George Carlin!!! It wasn't a bad drive there but OMG there was so much traffic when we got onto River Road I thought the whole world was going to the concert! Luckily there was plenty of traffic cops and organized parking attendants so the line went rather quickly and we were at the theatre by 7:45 (show started at 8) which gave us a little time to get settled into our seats. When the show started we were kinda surprised to see another comic doing the opening act but he was funny...just wish I had caught the guy's name, ah well. After he was done there was a short intermission and then it was time for George Carlin wooooooo!!! He opened up with a bit from his book When Will Jesus Bring The Pork Chops and then went into material from his latest HBO special "Life is Worth Losing" which we saw a few months ago on TV and was hilarious, even more so that we got to see it live!

If I had any complaints about the show, it would have to be the sound. The reverb in the theatre was terrible and I think I missed some of the bits and was worried that I was losing my hearing but Branka and Greg had problems with it too so I was glad it wasn't just me. All in all it was an AWESOME show and I can't wait to see George Carlin live again next time he comes back to Chicago :D. Afterwards we went back to Branka's place and watched some TV and hung out with her oldest daughter who was over for the night. We had such a fun time!
