Life continues to be busy. I've done another day of relief at the same school, as well as half a day of meetings there on Monday to get to know the teachers and meet the classes that I would potentially be taking over. I'm also getting ready to sell some of my old costumes and new handmade accessories at a bellydancing event on Saturday night, so

Public libraries here are pretty good. Not as nice as university libraries, but the selection is pretty decent and they're usually in modern buildings with big reading tables as well as little nooks to get comfy in. I really miss hanging out in the main library at my first uni, UWA. It had beautiful big windows with squashy red armchairs in front of them and it was the best place to spend cold rainy afternoons in winter. There was a cafe downstairs with a pond in front of it that was always full of ducks, and although the food was terrible as only uni cafe food can be terrible, the hot chocolates were pretty awesome. You were allowed to take books from closed reserve in there too.
Haha, I'm feeling all nostalgic now! I'm almost tempted to go and make some awful student food like mi goreng. I don't hate my digestive system that much though :)
