The difference between smart/educated people and idiots:

Jul 22, 2008 22:59

Online, smart people respond.

In person, smart people respond.

Online, idiots baleet/delete.

In person, idiots throw the first punch.

Obviously, you can tell the idiot because he can't respond.

Just an observation.

Take it as you will.

Back to the Cubs game. Fuck the (edited) Arizona DIAMONDBACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband mentioned something about making a comment that you might misunderstand and I was supposed to tell you he's sorry if he offended you or upset you at all. What he doesn't understand is very few people understand his sense of humor. I know you have been nothing but nice to me and I have always thought you were (still are) awesome. So this is his apology to you through me. This all started with comments he made that someone took as serious because you can't really show sarcasm in text, as you saw in what he wrote to you. Sounds like he responded to something said with a Seinfeld quote as he remembers tons of movie and TV quotes.

Anyhow, he apologizes if he upset you. He is still upset because power was abused over a misunderstanding in text chat. Nothing negative or derogatory was aimed towards you. You're the shiznit! <3

I'm going to bed. KoL hurts my brain anymore, therefore I rarely log on. Just remember, if it's typed by my husband and it "looks" like an insult, most likely it's not. It's probably meant as a joke to get a witty retort. He likes people that don't get pissed at a stupid remark and can come back with a quick-witted comment. That's why he and I usually get along... I challenge him mentally instead of running off and crying in my corner. Some may call him an asshole, but those are the ones that can't think fast enough to respond.

<3 Sweet dreams, I'll catch you in chat one of these days!
