(no subject)
I GOT A NEW ROOF ON MY HOUSE!!!!! And it looks fantastic!! Of course just before I put on the new roof, I had to replace my water heater and just after the roof was finished, I had to replace my a/c unit. So $12,000 I am so broke it's not even funny. However, I'm hoping to be able to refi the house and pay off some of that stuff. I guess we'll see.
Of course anyone that knows me or reads this blog knows I can never have good (roof) without bad (water heater and a/c unit). However, the water heater and a/c wasn't all. I now have a hole in my ceiling that the roofers have to fix. Some poor guy put his foot through my roof while he was up there and put a hole in the ceiling where the roof is really close to the ceiling. Why couldn't he have shorter legs? Anywho, I'm waiting for the new gutters and the repaired ceiling before they get paid for anything.
Also, with all the storms going through Indiana, I'm happy to report, the roof is still there. lol I guess I really just need to start looking at the good and ignoring the bad, huh.
