Here is Installment One of cat pictures-- TIPPY!
Okay so Tippy may not get the limelight of pictures that Fry does. SHe does always look a bit annoyed. Take this picture for example:
SHe isn't particularly annoyed, though her nap was disturbed by Ruth and I examining something funny on the computer. She always looks really annoyed and grumpy and disgruntled. That's just her. SHe's an old lady and entitiled to a few harrumphs. But she is a sweet, gentle, playful cat.
I decided that she needed a better playtoy or two in her Fry Free Zone, and that included a scratching post so she could keep her claws maintained. She has been getting stuck in everything from furniture, coverings, and even her self from her incredibly long claws. So I got her a nice cat tree that has a small shelf on top because she likes to sit on top of boxes when she can.
She took to it right away, and she spends her time mostly either on it, or on my bed, however she has yet to scratch on it even after I tried to teach it to her. Ah well, we got snips for her claws, and pics for the camera.
"Yes, waiter, I will have the Seafood Special with extra Ick."
NOM NOM NOM
Oh look, a bag AND a stick AND a cat tree....Whatever shall she do next?
She is really very spry for an old lady. She will run, jump, twist, everything and seems to be quite healthy now when the mood to play comes upon her.
And we cannot forget the Redbug was her favorite toy!
I plan to get her a crinkle cave/tunnel next. I saw one at a story for cheap, and it''s one I KNOW she will like.
