Fears of being too ill to party were illfounded, as it turned out. Popped over to the church of St Perversia (ad vincula, naturally) to see Kitty, then on to B-movie with him, Lisa, and Lil. B-movie rocked, good music, nice venue, knew lots of people. Tried dancing but it hurt too much. It was also good to catch up with a few people who I hadn't seen for too long, such as duranorak (who was looking absolutely stunning) and Sharon. After that, back to Schloss Em for more partying.
Today got up late, walked the dogs then went for breakfast in Camden with Lisa and Lil (after a minor key losing crisis caused by me being an arse), purchases limited to a new set of boot laces to replace the ones I broke last night. Tonight, a party over the Misty Mountains and Far Away, ie the fag end of west London. Should be good though.
Seeing as what people have told me last night about the state of affairs at the LL, I have a suggestion for a venue which might be a viable alternative. It's the Princess Louise in Holborn, which is right by the tube. It's queer (and goth) friendly, not too loud, the drink is good and, being a Sam Smith's house, very cheap. The building itself is worth seeing, for that matter. No dancefloor though. What does everyone think?
