I enjoy talking about clothing a little too much.
Ahh~! It feels good to shop again. I've been putting off buying things off Y!JA because:
A) I have debts to pay (credit card, ortho, loan.. etc)
B) I feel like "You don't look good enough to wear brand" <~ this is so stupid and I know it's not true, but I can't help those thoughts from coming, you know?
C) It's become too trendy. Now everyone has brand. Oh well. I can find things more easily.. but more things are bought too. So it's not really better or worse.
So much changes in a year.
I just won a turtleneck sweater of Emikyu (it looks good for winter) for 3,000 yen. Of course, there's still shipping and service fees.. but in some way it's worth it. I look at clothes in the mall and go "What shoddy quality" and then go into Old Navy and say "Everything is so BLAND!" Haha~~ it's true though, right? Don't you notice the difference after experiencing brand??? Nothing compares~!
Yes, I had a point here. It's early to be saying my new years resolution, but I think this is in the style: I will not buy something if it's just a "novelty item"!!!! Here's what I mean. Let's compare three bags. First bag is the crown bag of Metamorphose (old model), second the famous BABY handbag, third Gaultier teddy print purse. I like all of them. That's not the problem, the problem is, IS IT PRACTICAL? Will I use it in my daily life? To school? To work (NO too dirty) or shopping? For me, the Gaultier bag would be best. Second, the handbag. So, that is one point I want to strive for. Another one would be.. I need more color in my wardrobe. SO BLACK!! As much as I love gothic things, I reflect it differently on myself. I think at appropriate times, I can wear these dramatic clothes, but not in my daily life. Casual maiden and lolita suits much better. As for punk wear, it's best for concerts, because I don't really worry about it (cheapest)
So, I will strive for:
1) Practicality
2) If I don't use it, SELL it (everything, not just clothes)
3) More color, less black
4) Blouses and skirts, I have TOO MANY one pieces that I don't wear
In completely unrelated news, I finally get two Thankgivings this year! It's been years since I've had two. Lucky~! PIE~~! *gyahah*
