(no subject)
We survived! First school placement is over and for the next 3 weeks I can have a social life again and for 3 weeks after that kinda, then we're back in school!
It was fairly close a few times wether we'd make it and Conan has had a sobbing crying Sarah to deal with a few times, but it definitly got better as I got to know the kids and know what I could punish them with :) Go detentions!
Had a few fanstastic lessons thaht left me on a high, had a fair few of the other type too! Got hugs from some of the kids leaving and my year 7's tell me there's a job for me there if I want it, but that may just be because I made a lava lamp with them. Science pracs can be the most fun thing in the world! Or the scariest!
Aside from school we've had pretty much no life! We have a few friends over here but they're also all teachers so it tended to be on a friday night over at ours moaning and eating and watching bad movies and falling asleep about 9, that was th highlight of our weeks! Havn't actually had a nightout in Wales yet! It's criminal! Wont tonight either! We have an essay due in on the 4th Jan, by post, so really gotta get it done today so I can post it in time! Sucks! Ah well! Gotta pack and buy prezzies and stuff too! Gulp so much to do!
At the mo we seem to live in the only part of the UK that has rain instead of snow, at least we should be able to make it to the boat tommorrow ok! Fingers crossed, touch wood etc etc!
Can't wait to get home, although gonna miss our apartment and my blow torch especially now that I actually have time to use it!
Can't wait to see people! Bring on Christmas in Dublin!
Of course I woke up this morning with a cold that I'vebeen dodging all week finally settleing in!
