Friday the 13th... and more.
A series of unfortunate events started unveiling itself since Friday the 13th.
In the morning, i saw a pri school mate at the bustop and she warned me that its friday the 13th. She carried on telling me how unlucky her friends were on the previous Friday the 13th which happened last mth. how the office got burnt, how her heels rolled down a flight of stairs... and then i thought ok really so suei ah...?
indeed, you cannot undermine the power of suei. i lost my 2 month old phone in the toilet of TIONG BAHRU PLAZA 14TH FLOOR. within 5 freaking minutes. i watched the cctv, it showed 3 females entering the toilet after me. i hope you, the lady thief from either GE Healthcare or Tunglok, googles and chances upon my entry and be guilty for the rest of your life. its really damn easy to nab you if i want to. oh well, i really hope you see this blog post. fuck you.
after the loss of my phone, i didnt go home and cry. i went to mahjong. and for the whole time i only won a 1 tai zi mo and 4 tai zi mo. so all in all i lost money. i felt like i was the only person celebrating christmas 2009 which came early -- i'm in a season of Giving!
on saturday, we went to Vivo hoping to get a replacement SIM card from Singtel. Apparently exclusive retailers dont provide replacement sim card service. i have to go to Hello! shops. ONLY Hello! shops. HELLO!!!!!!! and the nearest Hello! we can get is either Taka or Bugis. OH man..so ya, i decided to live without my phone for another 1 day.
i bought a starbucks drink in hope of making myself feel better. and then we had to leave the half-filled drink at one of the top shelves in Vivomart. it must have been 20 min later before we realised the loss of the drink.
Vivomart continued to bug me. I was in search of Doritos. I couldnt believe myself that i couldnt find Doritos in such a big hypermart . The closest i get is Chachos which i refuse to take. I want my Doritos can. but really, there wasnt any to be found. What the hell ! I have to buy from Watson's instead. and the Queue i was in refused to move. i watched in awe as the other 2 lines beside me moved in such promptness. i could have muttered another 4 letter word but i controlled. BAHHH!
that nite, we watched Man U vs Liverpool at Brotzeit. what more do i have to say ? Man U lost 4-1 at home. I'm sorry Man U fans! maybe things would have turned out well if i hadnt watched the match!
When i finally got home, i thought to myself. Enough is enough. Friday the 13th plus Saturday the 14th have already made me close to being hysterical. let me live in peace from now on PLEASE! i've enough of my sueiness. let me just go take a hot shower and rest for the night and when i wake up the next morning everything will be fine again!
and guess wad. the toilet bulb fused on me. I have to bathe myself in the dark at midnight.
