I have committed so much baking fail in the last 5 hours. (I guess we can extend it out a couple weeks--the last thing I made that turned out all right was the English muffins weeks and weeks ago.) But I am going to take a deep breath and I am going to put my blob of bread in the oven and take a shower even though I should've done that when it was rising, and I am going to get over it. Because the cookies are still good even if I won't bring them to work because they're flat and ugly, and the bread will taste like bread even if it's flat. All I wanted was to dip it in my soup at lunch, and this will definitely work for that!
Deep breath. It is not the end of the world. There is still the Hawaii Five-0 reboot in the world, and the world is good.
