Forget your elephants and mice

You guys, Bob (my long black American car [I love this song and I wish I could find a CD version to link]) is being a bitch and I don't know why. Troubleshooting a car when you know nothing about them is a hilarious process. This morning when I had the defroster going and the lights on he started rumbling at stoplights and the check engine/coolant/oil/etc lights that are usually off would flash and the radio would sputter. I turned off the defrost and it cooperated all the way to work. Then I get out today and it does it in the parking lot, except this time it was just the gas and check engine light. So I got out and screwed on my gas cap again (it wasn't loose, don't give me that look) and it was fine.

I have no idea what to google.

I just need everything to be hunky doory until Friday at 4:30. It can't die until Saturday, that's when the roommate who can get the hood open will be awake when I'm home.

Also apparently there is a virus going around twitter! Don't mouse over tweets that are in all black, I guess. Someone who's been a victim of this thing said not to go near messages retweeted from a 'matsta' or it makes your browser lose its shit.
