I swear to god. I sent an email to my guitar group saying if you want to work on our ensemble piece together before we actually perform it for the class, I'll get to campus early that day and we can meet before class but if you can't that's fine. Mostly it's for the benefit of ADD Hamster because seriously, I may have gotten lost and fucked up, but I don't think she played more than a handful of notes the whole time and also some of the ones she did play were...wrong. Like the prof actually took her aside after to say she should go over them again.
The one guy who wouldn't stick around long enough to talk about it (basically the reason I was sending the email) replied that "we can solo it like he said, it'll be fine" like he assumes we weren't going to practice it on our own if we met before class? I realize I'm the idiot who had to get up to try and perform a piece I completely did not practice in front of the class the other week (because my prof's system is FLAWED FLAWED FLAWED and I assumed going up three out of the four times we've DONE IT meant it had to be someone else's turn--it's meant to test all of us not just the same two people but the guy who always gets picked before me always picks the same damn number) but he fucked up yesterday just as much as I did and I had a way more complicated bass line than he did. I fucking practice, just not all the time.
I'm not going to respond to his email to clarify it though. I will never, ever see this boy again after this month, I don't care what he thinks.
Still didn't answer my question about what other homework we have for next week. Motherfuck.
