The feeding

She holds the world in an empty drawer

Contemplating the horrific genius of the dark

A nocturnal witness of an alien belief

The world confused by an undying devotion

The pain she feels consumes her daily

SHe hides it behind an awkward smile

Wasting away as the worms crawl through

Her veins as she rots from the inside out

The company she keeps is misery

The cold dark shallow

Drawing her to the murky bottom

Cold, Shallow, callow, selfish, alone

SHe attempts to find meaning in the meaningless

But she just ends up being mean

Burning liquids and snow white trails

Chases her from her only place of sanctuary

Discontent feeds this dead forest

Rabid dogs run wild through red streams

Tearing apart the pulsating hardening core

He lays there as the vermin come to feed
