(no subject)
Aside from being sick for the past week, all has gone well.
I am getting tired of IB English, its really annoying to sit and listen to Kuy fuck up everything. I have no clue what we are supposed to do for the timeline that is due tomarrow, and I really need to start doing shit in that class, seeing as I didn't do an essay... (Thats considered bad.)
Anyway, Life is going. I need to get ontop of my college apps, though, isn't everyone in the whole fucking world behind on those? Oh well. I just hope to get into UC Santa Cruz, it seems like the kinda school I would want, though I always did invision myself in a smaller school the Santa Cruz. I would have liked to go to Smith or Bryn Marw, but it seems that I am just not destained to get into a nice privet all girls school. I am most likly applying to knox, I *should* get in there, but I am not even sure of that. If I did get into knox I might go, whether or not mr. Tkwrinklefiber goes there. I would need to go there and see the campus first though.
I cannot believe that I am actually in my senior year of highschool. It seems soo much like Junior year. The scary part is thinking about how quickly Junior year went, and then how fast Senior year might. Once this year is over I will be going to COLLEGE. Damn that college. Oh well.
Anyways, Holloween is comming up, yeah for holidays which serve no real purpose other then to give me candy. (Don't tell Mrs. Lord I said that holloween has no purpose, I fear the wrath that she would take upon me.) With Holloween comes TFO (or to the lame-Os who don't know what TFO is, it is Trash Film Orgy, which is a fucking awsome way to spend a friday and saturday night :) ).
I don't care what anyone else thinks, Baroque music is fucking awsome. Just sit and listen to some Bach (Brandenburg concerto or any of his fuges are good) or Vivaldi (Four seasons, Prefably Spring and winter). Ahh... I am glad we are in the baroque period in IB music again. I GET TO WRITE A FUCKING FUGE!!!!! I am sooo happy. Its going to be a woodwing quartet w/ harpsichord.. YEAH for fuges. I am also almost finnished with my theme and variation, which parts of it are really cool, and parts of it are like, WHAT THE FUCK. NO QUATRACHORDS. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, other then the 3 variation I like it. The fifth I augmented the rhythm and I put it into the parallel minor, which makes it sound like a dirge. The melody is usually very happy. The sixth variation is going to be retrograding the theme, but the chord structure is going to be totally new. THen the seventh variation is going to be based of a pentatonic scale, then I will write the melody based upon this scale, it will end up being atonal, which should be cool. I will use tone-rows for the accompanyment, and maybe make it polyphonic, with interlocking melodys. Hmm... I will be intresting. Ruiz is saying this will be our contempoary peice, then we will do a classical peice (The fuge may cover that, but he may want it actually from the classical period) and a pop/jazz peice. Fun fun. Composing is tedious work, but kinda rewarding. Oh well. He is going to have the concert band play the chorals we wrote, which is really scary mainly because mine is really bad. I screwed up and I cannot for the life of me figure out what is happing with this one part. I must of made the WHOLE clarinet two part a step lower or higher or somthing. I need to fix it. Ohh... it is going to be bad in band and playing my own peice. I really hope he forgets about making us do that.
