Hey CS! The mods here, bringing you all of the information for your dramatic battle needs - if you have any questions after this, please feel free to ask in the comments.
First things first, the strike teams! Unfortunately not everyone who volunteered to be a leader was able to have a leadership position, but both leaders and teams were picked entirely by the random number generator. They are as follows, with the leaders in bold:

The way this is going to work is that we’re going to post up an all purpose log for people to tag around in, and they’re going to have sub threads. You don’t have to stick strictly to these subthreads, but please at least start off in them - especially strike team people! - so that people start off on the same foot. If you choose to split your strike team up at some point during the thread for whatever reason, please make sure that everyone knows what’s going on. You can use this post to plot and exchange contact info and things if you need to.
In order to keep confusion to a minimum (hopefully!) we’re going to list each subthread we plan on having, here, with a little blurb for the type of thing that will be going on in it. The subthreads are as follows:
Strike Teams
This is where our infiltrators go! The strike teams are going to board the Sith ships at one end - you can choose whether or not this happens with any kind of subtlety :’| - and need to work their way to the bridge at the other end to take out the Captain/Sith/group of Sith/all of these. Basically the teams will have been assigned one of these things as a target, and we’re leaving it up to you guys to decide what in particular they’re going after so that you can have some leeway. Also, while the taking out of one of these targets is the goal there’s nothing to say you can’t murder the Captain on the way to the Sith. Because life is a video game, the closer your team gets to the bridge, the harder things will get for them - they’ll only face normal soldiers at the beginning, moving on to dealing with droids and then Sith Force users. You’re entirely welcome to have people get injured or die on the way, as well as have communications, medics, repairs or stowaways join in the party.
Medics
Basically you can be chilling out together on one of the Republic ships or you can thread medics dealing with injured strike team members or NPC soldiers or whatever! It’s probably easier if injuries are dealt with in this thread so as to not crowd the strike team threads.
Communications
Will have layouts of the ships that people are on! So they can chill amongst themselves also as well as direct strike teams or inform medics/repair people that they’re needed. It might be easier for these people to jack other threads, but either way please ask if it’s okay first! Using this thread to plot things out will probably help communications personal get involved.
Mechanics/Repairs
You’re in charge of the droids and hacking the systems! You can work together to remotely override systems on the ships and make them blow up (it’s canon) as well as send in your own droids or be called in to repair them. Also, the Republic ships are going to be under fire, so repair people can get involved in patching hulls or whatever it is that spaceship repair people do when shit’s getting blown up
Miscellaneous
Everything else! If your strike team is separating and bumping into other people it can go here, stowaways can go here before they run into strike teams, and also anyone who missed the sign up deadline to be a part of a strike team but still wants to be involved can thread out things here being regular soldiers - on a ship under fire, firing on another ship, fighting other normal soldiers on Sith ships, that sort of thing!
As a note Soldiers, Sith and Jedi who missed the strike team sign up but still want to be involved aren’t confined to the Miscellaneous thread - you can basically go anywhere but the Strike Team threads!
We’re also going to be throwing up plotting threads that echo the above in this post so that people can plan more efficiently, so please don’t throw your characters in here until they go up. There will also be a thread for questions, or you can email us at theoldcoots@gmail.com. Please don’t plurk us your questions!
The event will be occurring over two days in game, but will last OOCly until the 15th in order to give people time to thread. That’s all, folks, stay excellent~
