Alright, so a recap of events recently so the two people who check this out can know what I've already told them. Alright, so a few weeks ago I was working late and my car got broken into and my stereo taken. I'm not too pissed about the stereo, I was thinking of getting a new one with an input for my ipod so I wouldn't have to burn cds so much. But they broke my window. Now being in southern california it is hot, but right around now it's getting colder in the night time hours. So if I open I'm freezing on my way to work, and if I'm closing I'm cold on my way home from work. All that and no music for the half hour ride both ways. Not only that but this happened a day before I scheduled to take my car in to get the brakes replaced...so all my money went to that and I have had to wait til my next paycheck to get the window fixed which should be sometime next week. The only problem with that is my friend who moved to Oregon is visiting this week and wants to hang out but I don't really want to go anywhere that requires me to park my windowless car in a lot full of punk kids looking for an easy car to steal.
Alright, on to the good news. I got some cds that kick so much ass it's unbelievable. Voltaire Live is hillarious. I actually laughed out loud listening to this thing. Great jokes like the Star Wars thing with Yoda, and best opening ever. Ego Likeness The Order of the Reptile is a very nice addition to anyone's goth collection. When I had a stereo in my car I had the Ego cd in there for about 3 weeks, lucky for me when it was stolen there was just a burned cd in there. As of now I'm looking for the new single from the Cruxshadows, haven't found it in any stores, although hot topic was selling the reissue of the mystery of the whisper, odd. Oh yeah and White Noise 2 free preview this thursday at winnetka if anyone is interested stop by my work and pick up a flyer. Sucks that the Feast preview was cancelled, but now that there's some movie no one really wants to see they'll actually go through and let us see it.
