Um...yeah I didn't check my cell until I just got home (from school) at 9:07pm...
I had originally requested the pass...or er to go along with you...because I watched the trailer on imdb...over the weekend and got so excited...I had forgoten that I had a night class...5:45pm-9:00pm or later...
...the reason I did not hear my cell...was because the ringer was off and it was on a table...and I was playing Tekken 5...sort of got into it I guess.
Throughout today...I had thought about skipping the class multiple times and just showing up at the winetka theatre...and just trying to scavenge for a pass. But I decided that since I may not be able to get in...it be best that I go to class...as my teacher will drop me if I miss her class twice.
Was class worth going to today? NO!

IGN FilmForce has learned that none other than Oscar-winner Quentin Tarantino is in final negotiations to write and direct the Ultimate Jason Voorhees Movie, an all new Friday the 13th for New Line. The project will be a co-venture between New Line and Paramount Pictures. It is expected to be a "quickie" that could get underway as early as this year! If there's any (ultra-violent) filmmaker who could make Jason cool and scary again, it'd be the man who resurrected Travolta. I just wonder if the movie will be retitled Kill Jason?

As for the movie, when someone tells me it's supposed to be gory I then set in my mind that it will be worse than anything I've seen. So that's my problem, I've seen worse. This is just one of those, 'hey it's cool to them let's dub it and sell it here.' So the only good thing about it so far is that it is the original movie. They haven't remade it like the ring or the vanishing...speaking of which, this should be campared to the vanishing meets another movie that will ruin the film for you if I say it. Most of the good gore is in the opening with the father. After that it's the badass barbwire bat she carries. They do kill a kid, so that's one thing they do over seas that we don't anymore. Anywho, better luck next time.
