I am in a quandry...
As you may know, the next installment of the critically acclaimed Pokémon series came out approximately five days ago... A joyous moment for all who play video games, right?
WRONG!!!!
This is probably the worst thing that could have possibly happened this week... Why? That's easy to explain... I have officially become inferior to Pokémon...This is ridiculous! No one wants to talk to me and if they do, they only want to talk about Pokémon... Or, they just plain ignore me while I attempt to discuss something else. Am I seriously that uninteresting? Is hanging out with me or talking to me about something other than Pokémon such a chore? Am I really not as good as Pokémon Diamand or Pearl? I don't own a DS and certainly don't have the money to do so... Does that make me odd? Does that make me crazy or something? Sure, I did buy a PlayStation 3, but let's not get into that... What I'm trying to figure out is this:
Should be be entirely cast away from my friends because I lost my interest in Pokémon after Gold and Silver? Should I be shunned for not liking the same things as the majority of my peers do? Must I be punished for being different?
