thank heaven for small favors...
the wedding was beautiful. it was held outside at dwight's place with a backdrop of the gold fields. gorgeousness. the performance went very well. we even got to use mics. scott did an amazingly beautiful job on his 12-string for us. my uncles have endless talent. and we got endless compliments. yay. the dance was fun and we all rocked out to Ironhorse. well, actually, i didn't dance. i won't lie. but i DID take lovely little walk outside and down the block to this awesome bridge overlooking a dam that was all lit. it was a simply perfect night.
we stayed in Northfield Minnesota which apparently is where the last bank Jesse James robbed is located. Rita and i wanted to see it soooo bad, but we never got to. this morning we were leaving northfield and were almost schmucked (and i mean SCHMUCKED) in the middle of an intersection. it was one of those adrenaline-fused slow-motion moments. but luckily bri was quick and totally whaled the brakes and we ended up about 2 inches from the front axle of the other car. But everyone was fine. I think we all know who we have to thank... ^_^
Rochester is in the middle of some insane construction. heh, i guess we should be glad we made it out of there alive too :oP
i'm staying here (at home) tonite and i'll head back for dsm in the morning. see ya soon kids! each and every one of you is a blessing in my life. LUFF YOU!!!
