Natural Power Juice
I have a new hobby - finding products that advertise themselves as "not tested on animals" and then testing them on Scooter. (Don't worry, Scooter signed a waiver of consent, so no angry letters please.)
Product: Tom's Of Maine's Natural Wintermint Toothpaste
Test: Shoved in front of Scooter's nose.
Results: Disgust, angry yelping noise and running away only to come back and sniff it multiple times and show same reaction each time.
Verdict: Chinchillas are opposed to brushing their teeth.
Product: Tom's Of Maine's Natural Calendula Deodorant
Test: Shoved in front of Scooter's nose.
Results: Same reaction as to the toothpaste.
Verdict: Chinchillas don't like Tom's of Maine products. Luckily they don't smell bad so there is not need for deodorant.
Product: Burt's Bees Lip Balm
Test: As usual, shoved in front of Scooter's face.
Results: He tried to eat it.
Verdict: Scooter is mentally ill, probably from sniffing too much toothpaste and deodorant.
