Ned Sykes from Preoccupied Pipers edited that together from hours of tedious iPhone & digital camera video that we took in England back in May. Amazing skills that guy has. I had to watch it several times to pick out all the little subliminal details.

And here's the latest Single-Of-The-Month:

So all of these new bills about jobs and work are great and everything, but I'm pretty sure they're not addressing the real problem, which is: why, in the year 2011 are "hard work" and "having a job" still considered virtues to strive for? Since the beginning of time, the entire trajectory of human existence has been focused on coming up with ideas that will help us avoid doing work and make life easier. We're the species that invented agriculture, hand tools, motors, machines, the printing press, plumbing, automation, assembly lines, interchangeable parts, electricity, calculators, robots, and computers; all aimed at lessening our collective work load. So why, 12,000 years after the agricultural revolution, are most people still spending 8 or more hours a day doing something they hate? In the 16 years that I've worked at my current job, business technology has advanced almost infinitely, yet I seem to be working harder than ever and still never getting caught up. What's the point of all of these ingenious inventions then? We don't need more jobs and more work. Our generation should be sitting back and letting our robots take care of our every need while we spend our free time doing things we actually like.
