It's from the Hofner Icon series, so it's fairly new, maybe 2 or 3 years old. I think of it as Hofner's answer to the Hofner knockoff basses. You're going to make cheap versions of our bass? We'll make a cheap one too, except ours will have the Hofner logo, thus making it more desirable. Hey, it works for me.

You and Karla and some third woman were in my dream last night! You three came to my house after a gig, to say hi. It was about 3 AM and I was sleeping on my couch (where I actually slept last night). You just walked right into my apartment and introduced yourselves. You all looked fabulous. I said you could take what you wanted from the apartment. I gave the nameless girl my piano. You took the coat rack. Karla had a bag made by the same woman who made mine, but Karla didn't like hers.

I may be spending too much time on the internet these days.
