Great news everybody; a guy who used to work down the hall from me, whom I have made copies for and sold electronic components to, is going to be the secretary of energy for the entire gol' dang country! This is exciting for two reasons:
1. Someone I know personally has a presidential cabinet appointment. This puts me within 3 degrees of Joe Biden.
2. The secretary Of energy is going to be a legitimate scientist rather than a lackey for Chevron and Exxon.
Dr. Chu was working here when he won his Nobel Prize and I remember that day because everyone in the building got free cake.
