I adopted Scoot on June 18th, 2003 and that's when I always celebrate his birthday. He has lived with me in 3 different towns and begrudgingly endured the additions of Pean, Waz and Rosebud. He's still my #1 guy though. A decade is a long time for a small rodent. When he was born people still listened to music on CDs, there were only 3 Star Wars movies, the world heralded the advent of the iMac and Pepsi One, a young Silicon Valley band called Bigwheel appeared at the first ever International Pop Overthrow festival, then promptly disbanded, and George W. Bush did not yet exist. To Scooter, may he live forever!
