Arggh! Healdsburg!
When the frigatebird first arrived they wouldn't even show him on TV because he was in such bad shape. Looks like he's recovering nicely and will soon be back to stealing other birds' food by forcing them to regurgitate it in midair.
Whole Foods Market® to Sack Disposable Plastic Grocery Bags by Earth Day
I'm particularly happy about this decision because ever since Karla started working 2 blocks from the downtown Whole Foods, almost half of our household income ends up in their coffers. We bring our own bags (and always have) so it won't affect us personally but still, it's good to see a giant corporation doing the right thing.
