View Of The Mountain
Originally uploaded by Ghostly Penguin Display. I guess this explains how Mountain View got its cryptic name. This is the view from the Corner of Castro and Villa. As you can see, there are people walking down the street oblivious to the giant mountain behind them. I do not think this is the proper attitude and I try to always act shocked when I see the mountain rather than taking it for granted. Thank God I don't live in Sunnyvale where I would have to run down the street screaming "Merry Christmas!" every time I noticed that the sun was still in the sky.
