Allow me to introduce Fi'ty and Amelia. We're cat sitting for them while one of my coworkers is in Germany.

Today's song is the full band version of The Short Answer by Billy Bragg. It's a bonus track on the reissue of Worker's Playtime, one of my all time favorite albums.

Aye... Worker's Playtime is indeed an all time favorite. It reminds me a trip to Vinyl Solution where I first purchased it on cassette from the used bin. Those were the days, oh the fun it was searching for used cassettes. I remember it seemed like his accent was so thick that it was really hard to understand him.

Do you have the bonus tracks? I downloaded them from YepRoc.com. I can send you some, or you can download it legitimately if you want. They're all pretty good. It's mostly alternate versions of songs from the album but there are 2 or 3 songs that I hadn't heard before.

Yeah, Vinyl Solution was the best. Does it still exist somewhere?

I have them but have not listened to them yet. I will make a point of listening to them. I also have the bonus tracks from Don't Try This At Home, William Bloke, and England Half English that I need to listen to.

Sadly, Vinyl Solution does not exist anymore.

I should have known. If it's out there, Kurt has it way before anyone else.

>ometimes it seems like life is just one long series of laundry, and that's fine with me.

Really? I have a long series of life packed into several bags in my closet. You're welcome to it. I also have a clothesline (in the bathroom) and some wooden pins...

I love the clothesline in my apartment building, its out back and runs on a pully (sp?) system like something out of a new york apartment. I actually don't really like the drier at all and I think it should be used sparyingly.
