Noodle Long and Soft

What a day of extreme accomplishment this has been. I got my oil changed (didn't even get a lecture about how I need to fix my Shiveeboo), we cleaned out our closets and dropped off 3 big Carefresh bags of unwanted clothes and obsolete electronics at the Goodwill wagon, and best of all I finally fixed the bathroom doorknob. (Those of you who have been to my house know the horror of the bathroom door.) Anthropologie had Victorian doorknobs on sale for $16 and I found one that matched our others. Now if you use our bathroom you're no longer in danger of shutting the door and having the knob fall off in your hand and being trapped in there forever like Lou almost was. Not only that, but the door to the upstairs that didn't close? I fixed that too. It turned out that the top hinge just needed to be tightened. I don't know why I didn't figure that out a year and a half ago when we moved in. Probably because I just assumed that in a 100 year old house things weren't supposed to work correctly.
