I didn't realize it until I saw the newspaper headlines yesterday, but I've now been living in this country for 30 years. Make of that what you will.
I finally broke down and got a bass amp. It looks pretty much exactly like this, but it only cost half as much. It sounds amazingly good for a so-called 25 watt amp, better than some of the 100 watt amps I tried out. It's certainly loud enough to irritate Javier.
"Wha is-a yo mileage?" guy at the oil change place had another cryptic message for me this weekend. "You know Shivee Boo?" "Who?" "You know Shivee Boo? Shivee Boo!" "Sorry, I don't understand." "No, you no know Shivee Boo." A few minutes later he handed me a piece of paper telling me I needed to fix my C.V. Boot. Still confused.
