first day of testing today...

both were incrediably easy... one of the options for one of the two required essays for my english final i could write about how bad table manners bothered me... i hate bad table manners, so this was right up my alley...

for my economic final i had one hundred multiple choice questions and then i had to write an essay on the advantages and disadvantages of sole proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations. at the end of the essay i was tired of using the same words over and over again. i try my hardest to use synonyms, but sometimes it's just too hard to think of something like that off the type of your head, and i'm the type of person who just writes my essay in one long continuous stream of thoughts from the beginning to the end, and i hate wasting time on finding other words to replace the easy ones. eh. so at the end of the essay i was so tired of writing "advantages" and "disadvantages" and "sole proprietorships" that my conclusion was one sentence that ended in "... and you know this because this is the most monotonous essay i've ever written and so i'm going to stop now" and i ended it. my economics teacher is cool; he'll get the humor in it. before tests began he was playing hacky sack outside with some kids

for both tests i sat across from desiree. instead of putting desks in the cafeteria, they just kept the tables, and we had to sit two to a table, across from each other. desiree is a cool person... i've known her since kindergarten but didn't get a chance to see her too much this year. after the test we went to mcdonald's and i ran across the way to 7-eleven because i had only two dollars and figured i should get some gum to chew at least. i ended up spending most of my money at the movie's last night when i went to go see finding nemo with nicole and her mom. cute movie, but doesn't compare to shrek or lilo & stitch. but it has its moments

i brought on the road to read with me after finals (thanks kathleen), but when we were finished me and desiree just started talking pretty much anyway. kjersten dropped me off here, and i read on the road for a couple of hours

and oh man, in front of the high school today, i guess some construction workers want more money or something because they were standing outside with signs on them, and they had a giant inflatable rat... it was fucking scary, and kind of annoying when you're trying taking a test and all you can hear is the beeping of giant trucks passing by just to beep at a giant inflatable rat... but i probably would've done it, too

so later is the barbecue... yumm...

and i don't have to go to the eye doctor's anymore on saturday because he's like, going on vacation or some shit like that

and i don't have to go to school again for another 12 days. well, i could go on tuesday if i want to take the math A regents, and i think i will. and then i don't have to go back until the 24th for chemistry... and then on the 27th for graduation practice and then on the 28th for graduation

when i was driving with desiree it occured to me that other than graduation, this might be the last time i ever see her ever again. and it sucks when you're around that person for twelve years, and then that's it... i don't know... i know i'll cry and i'm going to miss so many people and that sucks...

anyway, this is way too long

bye
