Long weekend
Much fun was had Friday night with h_i_p_p_y. We chatted for hours, fed her coke zero and tried not to be too scary. I think we succeeded :)
Saturday was a return to Pikmin and we made real progress, locating all but one of the spaceship parts. With three days to go, so we nipped back to the base and made loads more troops, ready for the final push.
Having done a good days gaming we had some yummy food and relaxed in front of a movie. We had a choice of 4 DVDs and no idea what to watch so we decided to let the dog choose. Predictably he sniffed all four discs, but seemed quite keen on Underworld 2. frag_ wasn't, so we watched Nurse Betty instead which turned out to be brilliant. After that we watched the Reading & Leeds festivals on BBC3 for a bit and had a late night.
I had hoped we would complete Pikmin on Sunday but it was not to be. We tried our best but eventually gave up to watch more Reading & Leeds festivals in the hope of seeing My Chemical Romance. Alas, no luck, but we ended up watching a really good documentary on the rise and fall of the Stone Roses until 4am!
Unsurprisingly, Monday involved much sleeping, and only brief GameCube action. There was more yummy food in the shape of home made cherry summer pudding made from ed_the_drivers cherries.
Next weekend, shopping, as we'll have been paid. Rah!
