Where in the world is V the Anti-Fangirl?
Twice a year I start lining up my travel plans and trying to work out who I'll be close to so that I can see them. Living in Meh, Florida leaves me slightly starved for social interaction. Come say hello, friends list! Here's a break down of where I will be for the next few months.
Memorial Day Weekend, May 29-30, Orlando, FL
Attending (and making cute Axis powers themed food for) a bachelorette party Saturday night. Hoping to catch lunch with momebie, perhaps marilla82 and theemdash. Sunday is probably best for me but let me know what works for you.
June 4-6, South Florida
the_hawk and I will be stopping off in the Daytona area and then heading to Rat Mouth Boca Raton for the wedding. I know kaylum is in Miami. Comment if in one of those areas and interested in getting lunch.
June 12-14?, Fayetteville, NC
ncdnc wants to take time out of his busy political schedule to shepherd me around his town. I swear there will be no cosplaying, just champagne and musicals. Anyone NC LJers close to him?
Weekend of June 19 or July 17, Descending on the Midwest like a plague of locusts, St. Louis, MO
Who wants in on the sleepover? I am attempting to work around the schedules of bodlon and redstapler, but also doing my best to get better_late24 and kel_reiley down from their northern climes if I can't manage a day trip to Chicago. squammie has selflessly offered up her couch and floor space to us and agrees that a trip to the City Museum is in order. eggshellseas - are you in STL for the summer? Are there any other midwest-based LJers who would like to join us?
September 2-6, D*C, Atlanta, GA
the_hawk will be there all weekend but I will only be there for maybe Sunday and Monday morning if I go at all. Really need to know who will be there before I decide if it is worth the drive.
October 13-20, It's Barrowtastic!, London and Cardiff, UK
ncdnc, better_late24, possibly tigrrmouse, and myself will be staying with speth for a night before heading over to Cardiff for three days(cruentum? Coffee with a side of ignoring each other?). After heading back towards London we might meet up with Tim Hirst for a trip to Quaint English Village. Which of my 15 friends in the UK wish to meet?
October 29-November 1, Hurricane Who, Orlando or Tallahassee?
Since HW appears to have fallen apart in a spectacular fashion, I'm offering that anyone who'd planned to go stay with me instead. Come on, hmfeelyat!
