(no subject)
Well, finished my test in Math just a few minutes ago and scouted for food successfully. Jan Term is nice that it's only 3 weeks (sort of), but dang 4 hours of math in the morning is hard to deal with some times. At least, I'm free for now until we have to pick back up for today at 11.
I think I'm getting a little bit sick. I DEFINITELY am getting VERY congested, but I don't know if it's just my usual seasonal allergy pain in the butt or if I am actually getting sick. Whatever, it sucks and there isn't much I can do aboot it.
Finally got World of Warcraft working properly and have been feverishly playing the past 2 nights (would be days if I didn't have to work :D ). The game is fun as crap and to me it feels almost like playing a REALLY big platformer that's massively online. The combat system for me is a whole lot easier to get used to using than Asheron's Call ever was able to do (and a lot more tolerable than AC's system). It's also nice to be able to go out, hunt around and kill stuff for a couple of hours, and the whole time not worry about anything except maybe how little your armor/weapon durability is actually being affected, whereas in AC, you would nowadays have to go out, get buffed up with spells, go hunt for about 45 minutes, sit around in a buffbot line if you can't buff yourself (or can and didn't feel like it, which was the case most of the time with me), take about 5-6 minutes buffing yourself and armor BACK up, and then repeating the cycle. It's nice to not have to worry about that and the whole thing where you had to have spell components that were able to be used up rather quickly just to cast the dadgum spells...which was a major pain in the butt. World of Warcraft is just so stinkin' much better than Asheron's Call. I would've said otherwise a while ago when WoW was still brand new, but I most definitely am not saying that now.
So, I ordered a Dean Edge 6-string bass. Musician's Friend said they were supposed to get it in stock Tuesday to ship out, but looks like they havn't gotten the shipment yet. Hopefully I'll get it sometime next week. I just hope to have it before the actual semester starts. I'm gonna need a half-way decent bass if Dr. Min is seriously considering having me play bass in basketball pep band. That'd be cool, but, like I said, I'm gonna need a bass that doesn't suck, and currently I don't have that.
