Anise is adorable and sassy; she's sort of like if Jade and Peony had a love child and then threw it on the streets to survive. Frugal, sharp-witted and even sharper-tongued, Anise knows how say just the right thing to dismiss any misconceptions you might've had about how innocent she is beneath that pigtailed exterior. Guy handles her with both love and caution, because by God if you don't use both she will steamroll right over you.
Despite that, Anise has a terribly delicate side where it concerns her past sins and especially Ion. Guy takes great care not to aggravate those pains, but sometimes he just doesn't know how to talk to her. He doesn't blame her for playing traitor to Mohs any longer, but he wasn't happy about it at the time and he sometimes doesn't know how to address the topic without being harsh. He'll usually send someone else to talk to her if he can get away with it.

· Asch the Bloody ·
Asch was, is and always will be a point of contention for Guy. He resolved to give him a chance just before Asch's death, and thanks to the wonders of Luceti Guy was able to give Asch that chance. Well, they ended up taking it and running with it and so now they've been together for over a year (Luceti-time). While the relationship ranges anywhere from rocky to blissful, Guy is learning a lot more with Asch than he ever has and he's come to love Asch for all the traits he knew he had; his sense of duty, his loyalty, his nobility and his passion. He desperately wants to make a safe place for Asch, whether it be in Luceti, in Auldrant or just wherever he is, and refuses to think about the prospect of returning home without him.
On the other hand, for all his good traits Asch is also nosy and observant -far more observant than Luke- and more often than not that brings about a good deal of trouble. As time goes on Guy is finding it more difficult to hide things from him, and Asch is discovering that Guy is not always as pleasant a person as he seems. Whether or not this makes or breaks the relationship is yet to be seen, but despite the fact that Asch would probably be better off if Guy forced him to go be with Natalia he's unwilling to give him up.

Dist is a wasted opportunity. He and Guy began as enemies simply because Dist was a God General and he was attacking the party. Guy was in Jade's presence and not insulting him furiously, so Guy became one of "the Jade gang." Which apparently puts on you Dist's shit list. In addition to that, Guy can be a little bit like Jade sometimes, and taunting Dist is absolutely hilarious because he's almost as volatile as Asch is. However, Guy can't help but wonder if maybe they could have bonded over fontech without silly things like factions and saving the world getting in the way.
Lately though, Guy's been feeling -of all things- pity for Dist. After hearing the story about Nebilim and seeing how much he cared for Nephry, Guy has come to the conclusion that Dist isn't a completely bad guy. Just...rather obnoxious. Guy's even gone as far as to part with his precious fontech, because he has the bar and all of his friends to keep him busy; Dist probably has next to nothing to do.

Ion was the boy they traveled with for months at a time...when they weren't rescuing him from being kidnapped. Oftentimes Guy wonders how he manages to keep such a positive outlook on life when it seems like in his two short years on Auldrant everything kept going wrong. Despite all his hardships, Ion continued to be as giving and selfless as the day they met him, and Guy regretted losing him as a friend when he passed away. But, Luceti is the land of second chances after all, and more than that he's glad Anise can be with Ion again.

Luke is the force that changed Guy forever. In the middle of his hatred, resentment and anger, Luke somehow wormed his way into Guy's heart and charmed him away from his plan of revenge. It wasn't immediate, but as their seven years together passed Guy grew to love the child he'd vowed to kill. By the time the start of the game rolls around, Guy's all but given up any thoughts of harming Luke; instead, he seems to have made a promise to himself to look after him. Luke, in return, clung to Guy both as his only real friend and his guiding force; they sort of depended on each other, quietly, without a lot of fanfare, but the result was the same. Luke became irreplacable in Guy's life.
Finding Luke again in Luceti has given Guy a joy he didn't think he'd lost. When Luke disappeared before, Guy told himself that it was fine, that Luke would come back to him back on Auldrant like he promised. That he shouldn't be upset, because he'd lost people precious to him before. That he could handle it. But Luke's return brought to Guy's attention that without Luke around, the world surrounding him seemed...duller, somehow. Not as vivid, not as precious. As such, he'll most likely be treating Luke like glass for the next few weeks, until the novelty wears off or until it sinks in that Luke isn't going to leave him again.

Natalia will probably always be "Princess" to Guy; that is, until she becomes Queen of course. He was with her since her younger years, just like he was with Asch and Luke, and they all played together. Though he hadn't really planned on killing her as he was with Luke, he still didn't like her very much because her father was just as much his enemy as the Duke. Therefore he usually kept her at a distance growing up...which was surprisingly easy to do, as she tended to treat her servants as servants instead of buddies like Luke (and sometimes Asch) had the habit of doing. Once their journeys together began, however, Guy began to learn more about her as a person and liked what he saw. She didn't discriminate between Malkuth citizens and Kimlascan citizens, believing both to be worthy of her assistance if they were in need. He believes that she has a lot of potential to be a much greater ruler than her father.
On the topic of Asch though, Guy is extremely wary. He doesn't want to break the news to her, because he knows how she feels about him and he knows how Asch feels about her. Once Natalia finds out, Guy is very determined to stay extremely hands-off; let Asch and Natalia work things out, then come in and see what he can do to help, if anything. Though really if he was honest with himself, he'd admit that he's just running away again.

Nephry is another one of those authority figures that Guy holds out at arms length. It's not that he dislikes her -quite the contrary- but he makes it a point to get to know a person before he lets them anywhere near sensitive subjects. Nephry tends to challenge some of the things Guy says, and he respects her too much to outright argue with her. He'll discuss, but he knows that they probably won't see eye-to-eye on everything (mostly because there are some things he's just too bitter about to consider rationally) and he'd rather be getting along with her than not.
Guy also thinks that Nephry and Peony should have screwed the rules and gotten hitched. He firmly believes that Nephry would make a very good Empress and that she would be good for Peony besides, and vice-versa. He feels badly for them both, but if Nephry is in love with her current husband than there's nothing to be done about it. He doesn't ask for details though, and probably never will.

Guy enjoys testing Adell in both harmless and kind of cruel ways. He likes to tease him about how he seems to surround himself with gorgeous ladies despite his expressed "dislike" of them and considers Adell something of a closet ladykiller. He doesn't often go out of his way to bother Adell -the kid's so damn busy all the time- but when they do get the chance to catch up and talk Guy tends to enjoy himself.
On the flipside, Guy tends to catagorize Adell as the "go get 'em" hero type with extremely strong personal morals and values that border on the naive. Guy's been burned in the past and can be sort of jaded, but that isn't the face he likes to put on so sometimes he'll leave issues alone. However, whenever he poses a difficult question or a controversial view Adell is usually right there to counter him with his optimism and mile-wide justice streak. Guy can admire that in someone, but he hopes Adell can live his life without anything happening to him challenge those morals. He wouldn't like to see Adell get hurt.

Guy loves Buffy. She's quirky and charming without being annoying, has a wonderfully unique way of speaking and is usually an absolute joy to talk with. She's also pretty badass and took out the General, and although Guy hasn't ever seen her in action he's perfectly all right with believing she could likely knock him onto his back in a spar. She's a quick learner, and eager student and a hard worker.
What Guy likes the best about her though is that she isn't quick to judge. She obviously has her own beliefs and they're strong enough that he can tell they've been tested a few times. She seems to have lead a dangerous life so she isn't naive, but if Guy says something that people might not like she doesn't jump on it and instead writes it off as blowing off steam (whether or not that's really what he was doing). He feels like he can trust her with all facets of his personality but doesn't really want to show them to her, so he doesn't. She doesn't seem to want to pry either, so it works out spectacularly for them; they both avoid dangerous topics of conversation and get along splendidly, though this does keep them on a level of friendship that isn't deep and testing. Guy is slowly probing her for more information on her life though, in an effort to get her to open up.

They've had a couple good talks, and Diana seems like an extremely classy lady. Guy would have no problem getting to know her better, especially since to have a conversation he would have to look at her, and he could look at that for hours. She is one beautiful lady. Dayum.

Draco's fascinating in that "I want to explore what makes him tick" sort of way for Guy. His first impression of Draco was when he was writing cheesy romance novels, but speaking with him later revealed he's...not a romantic. In any way, shape or form. In fact he's sort of spoiled and cruel, and while it's a bit obvious a lot of that is due to his upbringing he's not afraid to revise his way of thinking if he believes the other person has a good point. Not that Guy gets the impression of that happening too often, especially after conversation concerning servitude. Guy does think that it's good to have a healthy amount of conviction though, which Draco does seem to possess.
Draco is also hilarious in that he seems to give away details about himself without even realizing it. Guy views speaking with Draco as an exercise in observation, and likes to present his findings to see if he's right. While it's obvious that Draco is kind of a nasty person at the core, he's not the typical lost cause and Guy wants to see the kind of adult he grows up to be. He also likes to stick his nose into the business that is Draco's love life, because he sees a few parallels between Draco and Harry and he and Asch, although in completely different ways. Mostly he's just a busybody but at least he's rooting for Draco and Harry to make it?

Guy feels a bit badly for Edward. It's never fun to be in love and to not have it returned, and Edward seems the type to feel things very strongly. Guy isn't going to pry too far into this business -really, he doesn't have to try at all to get information out of him anyway- and he promised Edward he wouldn't interfere, so he won't. He's still going to track down Sigmund and stalk him a bit, though. Maybe.
He's a good kid -if kind of cranky- and so Guy makes a genuine effort to keep the teasing under wraps. He's also fantastic with metalwork, so Guy's mentally marked Edward as his personal blacksmith...although it's not as if he constantly needs metalwork done. He also likes to play therapist for Edward and get him to open up, if only because he can tell Edward doesn't do it very often. It's just as much to help Edward as it is to stick his nose in his business, though.

Emil is, surprisingly, more Asch's friend than Guy's. They speak every so often (not nearly as much as they had in the past, regrettably) and most of the time they spend together Guy is observing Emil. He knows Asch really gets frustrated with him sometimes and in that way he's a lot like how Luke was after Akzeriuth; tentative, unsure, guilt-ridden and lacking any semblance of a spine or a sense of self-worth. Guy would like to inject some confidence into the kid, but wants to see if Asch can do it without his help.
Guy's never really spoken with Ratatosk (or if he has, it's been a long time) and he doesn't know the story at all; just that Emil appears to have a split personality and this other one isn't very pleasant. He's not sure what to think of him; the things he hears are usually that he's rude, snappish and violent, but Guy wonders if maybe it's a lot like the case with Asch and Luke, where conflicting personalities make it easy to catagorize and make it difficult to view them as separate and whole people. Maybe if Ratatosk shows up again Guy'll take a chance and strike up a conversation, though he's not sure how well-received it would be.

She's a very sweet, very moral girl. Guy thinks that she's horribly naive, but doesn't fault her for it; young royalty often is, so long as they're pampered. She's extremely easy to read though, and while Guy values the kind of kindness Estelle appears to have he also thinks advertising it as she does is a good way to get hurt. People take advantage of givers, so if you're going to give you need to be a little wiser about it.
He thinks with some time she would make good royalty, but he hopes she comes to understand the darker side of morality before she does. A ruler needs to sympathize with all of their subjects, not just the kind, pure-hearted ones.

Harry comes off as very serious, more serious than a teenager should be, but if what Draco said about him being a world hero is true then it's not all that surprising. Granted, Guy's only spoken to him twice and the first was to satisfy a bet -he doesn't really think Harry's boring, just not a very engaging conversationalist when there's nothing in particular to say- but there hasn't been much to be happy about lately anyhow. Either way he seems to care a lot about Draco, and with Draco being the kind of person he is Guy figures there's got to be a lot of good in Harry for him to even give a damn.
Maybe one day they'll speak some more in the future, but for right now their only social interaction has been thanks to Draco so Guy is withholding about half of his judgment.

This lady has been there with Guy through some of his hardest times in Luceti. She knows about Hod and she knows his real name, and she was there when he was practically crying. She's one of the few people in Luceti to have seen him at his worst and for that he actually feels a bit ashamed. His composure is something he prides himself in, and whether or not it's understandable that he lost it he doesn't like other people bearing witness to those times.
Not that he thought she would or that anyone would really care, but she hasn't told anybody about Hod or even brought up that day when Asch returned once; for that, Guy is extremely grateful. He apparently repays this favor of hers by sticking his nose into her business and attempting to play matchmaker between she and Vash. He thinks her denial is super-cute, and encourages her to sieze the day and get with Vash For Serious.

They didn't really get along at first, but Guy can respect someone of her type. She seems to be the very blunt, very honest and probably very cold type of individual that Guy very, very rarely wishes he could be. Then again, she seems almost as inconsistent as he is; one entry, he's riling people up and she's scolding him for the fact that he's causing unrest, and the next he's pointing out that she's being condescending and she's pointedly neglecting the finer aspects of tact. They have a very strange rivalry going on here...if you can call it that.
Lately though, they've come to joking about said "rivalry" and about overcoming their mutual distaste to actually be pleasant with one another. Guy thinks she's charming in her own sort of way, and though he really has no clue what she thinks of him he thinks maybe she doesn't dislike him as much as she first did. If it turns out that they can't get along he won't be too broken up, but he also likes the idea of counting her amongst his acquaintances at the very least. Also damn the girl is pretty fine.

Nami is that girl. The one that Guy might be interested in if things were just a little different. As it is she's beautiful, intelligent and fun to be around. She's receptive to his flirting but knows not to take him seriously, and she worries but doesn't pry; two wonderful traits that, if he were looking, would be found in his ideal woman.
Nami is actually one of those very few people that Guy wants to talk to about his past. Not that he wants to sit her down and feed her his autobiography, but if the topic comes up he'll talk instead of dodging. He doesn't mind her seeing his darker side, and though he'd deny it to his dying day there's something relieving about being able to tell someone about Hod and know you won't get those horribly sympathetic stares because of it. He gets the feeling that if he were to tell her, Nami would just accept it and move on with their friendship, the same as ever.

LACKEY. Guy always seems to engage in deep, thought-provoking conversations and comes to a conclusion regarding potential research methods...only to divert Yuan elsewhere. He's not sure if this makes him a middleman or makes Yuan his field researcher, but either way it works out pretty good for him in the end.

Luke is the force that changed Guy forever. In the middle of his hatred, resentment and anger, Luke somehow wormed his way into Guy's heart and charmed him away from his plan of revenge. It wasn't immediate, but as their seven years together passed Guy grew to love the child he'd vowed to kill. By the time the start of the game rolls around, Guy's all but given up any thoughts of harming Luke; instead, he seems to have made a promise to himself to look after him. Luke, in return, clung to Guy both as his only real friend and his guiding force; they sort of depended on each other, quietly, without a lot of fanfare, but the result was the same. Luke became irreplacable in Guy's life.
Finding Luke again in Luceti has given Guy a joy he didn't think he'd lost. When Luke disappeared before, Guy told himself that it was fine, that Luke would come back to him back on Auldrant like he promised. That he shouldn't be upset, because he'd lost people precious to him before. That he could handle it. But Luke's return brought to Guy's attention that without Luke around, the world surrounding him seemed...duller, somehow. Not as vivid, not as precious. As such, he'll most likely be treating Luke like glass for the next few weeks, until the novelty wears off or until it sinks in that Luke isn't going to leave him again.

Natalia will probably always be "Princess" to Guy; that is, until she becomes Queen of course. He was with her since her younger years, just like he was with Asch and Luke, and they all played together. Though he hadn't really planned on killing her as he was with Luke, he still didn't like her very much because her father was just as much his enemy as the Duke. Therefore he usually kept her at a distance growing up...which was surprisingly easy to do, as she tended to treat her servants as servants instead of buddies like Luke (and sometimes Asch) had the habit of doing. Once their journeys together began, however, Guy began to learn more about her as a person and liked what he saw. She didn't discriminate between Malkuth citizens and Kimlascan citizens, believing both to be worthy of her assistance if they were in need. He believes that she has a lot of potential to be a much greater ruler than her father.
On the topic of Asch though, Guy is extremely wary. He doesn't want to break the news to her, because he knows how she feels about him and he knows how Asch feels about her. Once Natalia finds out, Guy is very determined to stay extremely hands-off; let Asch and Natalia work things out, then come in and see what he can do to help, if anything. Though really if he was honest with himself, he'd admit that he's just running away again.

· Nephry Osborne ·
Nephry is another one of those authority figures that Guy holds out at arms length. It's not that he dislikes her -quite the contrary- but he makes it a point to get to know a person before he lets them anywhere near sensitive subjects. Nephry tends to challenge some of the things Guy says, and he respects her too much to outright argue with her. He'll discuss, but he knows that they probably won't see eye-to-eye on everything (mostly because there are some things he's just too bitter about to consider rationally) and he'd rather be getting along with her than not.
Guy also thinks that Nephry and Peony should have screwed the rules and gotten hitched. He firmly believes that Nephry would make a very good Empress and that she would be good for Peony besides, and vice-versa. He feels badly for them both, but if Nephry is in love with her current husband than there's nothing to be done about it. He doesn't ask for details though, and probably never will.

· Adell ·
Guy enjoys testing Adell in both harmless and kind of cruel ways. He likes to tease him about how he seems to surround himself with gorgeous ladies despite his expressed "dislike" of them and considers Adell something of a closet ladykiller. He doesn't often go out of his way to bother Adell -the kid's so damn busy all the time- but when they do get the chance to catch up and talk Guy tends to enjoy himself.
On the flipside, Guy tends to catagorize Adell as the "go get 'em" hero type with extremely strong personal morals and values that border on the naive. Guy's been burned in the past and can be sort of jaded, but that isn't the face he likes to put on so sometimes he'll leave issues alone. However, whenever he poses a difficult question or a controversial view Adell is usually right there to counter him with his optimism and mile-wide justice streak. Guy can admire that in someone, but he hopes Adell can live his life without anything happening to him challenge those morals. He wouldn't like to see Adell get hurt.

Guy loves Buffy. She's quirky and charming without being annoying, has a wonderfully unique way of speaking and is usually an absolute joy to talk with. She's also pretty badass and took out the General, and although Guy hasn't ever seen her in action he's perfectly all right with believing she could likely knock him onto his back in a spar. She's a quick learner, and eager student and a hard worker.
What Guy likes the best about her though is that she isn't quick to judge. She obviously has her own beliefs and they're strong enough that he can tell they've been tested a few times. She seems to have lead a dangerous life so she isn't naive, but if Guy says something that people might not like she doesn't jump on it and instead writes it off as blowing off steam (whether or not that's really what he was doing). He feels like he can trust her with all facets of his personality but doesn't really want to show them to her, so he doesn't. She doesn't seem to want to pry either, so it works out spectacularly for them; they both avoid dangerous topics of conversation and get along splendidly, though this does keep them on a level of friendship that isn't deep and testing. Guy is slowly probing her for more information on her life though, in an effort to get her to open up.

They've had a couple good talks, and Diana seems like an extremely classy lady. Guy would have no problem getting to know her better, especially since to have a conversation he would have to look at her, and he could look at that for hours. She is one beautiful lady. Dayum.

· Draco Malfoy ·
Draco's fascinating in that "I want to explore what makes him tick" sort of way for Guy. His first impression of Draco was when he was writing cheesy romance novels, but speaking with him later revealed he's...not a romantic. In any way, shape or form. In fact he's sort of spoiled and cruel, and while it's a bit obvious a lot of that is due to his upbringing he's not afraid to revise his way of thinking if he believes the other person has a good point. Not that Guy gets the impression of that happening too often, especially after conversation concerning servitude. Guy does think that it's good to have a healthy amount of conviction though, which Draco does seem to possess.
Draco is also hilarious in that he seems to give away details about himself without even realizing it. Guy views speaking with Draco as an exercise in observation, and likes to present his findings to see if he's right. While it's obvious that Draco is kind of a nasty person at the core, he's not the typical lost cause and Guy wants to see the kind of adult he grows up to be. He also likes to stick his nose into the business that is Draco's love life, because he sees a few parallels between Draco and Harry and he and Asch, although in completely different ways. Mostly he's just a busybody but at least he's rooting for Draco and Harry to make it?

Guy feels a bit badly for Edward. It's never fun to be in love and to not have it returned, and Edward seems the type to feel things very strongly. Guy isn't going to pry too far into this business -really, he doesn't have to try at all to get information out of him anyway- and he promised Edward he wouldn't interfere, so he won't. He's still going to track down Sigmund and stalk him a bit, though. Maybe.
He's a good kid -if kind of cranky- and so Guy makes a genuine effort to keep the teasing under wraps. He's also fantastic with metalwork, so Guy's mentally marked Edward as his personal blacksmith...although it's not as if he constantly needs metalwork done. He also likes to play therapist for Edward and get him to open up, if only because he can tell Edward doesn't do it very often. It's just as much to help Edward as it is to stick his nose in his business, though.

· Emil Castagnier ·
Emil is, surprisingly, more Asch's friend than Guy's. They speak every so often (not nearly as much as they had in the past, regrettably) and most of the time they spend together Guy is observing Emil. He knows Asch really gets frustrated with him sometimes and in that way he's a lot like how Luke was after Akzeriuth; tentative, unsure, guilt-ridden and lacking any semblance of a spine or a sense of self-worth. Guy would like to inject some confidence into the kid, but wants to see if Asch can do it without his help.
Guy's never really spoken with Ratatosk (or if he has, it's been a long time) and he doesn't know the story at all; just that Emil appears to have a split personality and this other one isn't very pleasant. He's not sure what to think of him; the things he hears are usually that he's rude, snappish and violent, but Guy wonders if maybe it's a lot like the case with Asch and Luke, where conflicting personalities make it easy to catagorize and make it difficult to view them as separate and whole people. Maybe if Ratatosk shows up again Guy'll take a chance and strike up a conversation, though he's not sure how well-received it would be.

She's a very sweet, very moral girl. Guy thinks that she's horribly naive, but doesn't fault her for it; young royalty often is, so long as they're pampered. She's extremely easy to read though, and while Guy values the kind of kindness Estelle appears to have he also thinks advertising it as she does is a good way to get hurt. People take advantage of givers, so if you're going to give you need to be a little wiser about it.
He thinks with some time she would make good royalty, but he hopes she comes to understand the darker side of morality before she does. A ruler needs to sympathize with all of their subjects, not just the kind, pure-hearted ones.

Harry comes off as very serious, more serious than a teenager should be, but if what Draco said about him being a world hero is true then it's not all that surprising. Granted, Guy's only spoken to him twice and the first was to satisfy a bet -he doesn't really think Harry's boring, just not a very engaging conversationalist when there's nothing in particular to say- but there hasn't been much to be happy about lately anyhow. Either way he seems to care a lot about Draco, and with Draco being the kind of person he is Guy figures there's got to be a lot of good in Harry for him to even give a damn.
Maybe one day they'll speak some more in the future, but for right now their only social interaction has been thanks to Draco so Guy is withholding about half of his judgment.

This lady has been there with Guy through some of his hardest times in Luceti. She knows about Hod and she knows his real name, and she was there when he was practically crying. She's one of the few people in Luceti to have seen him at his worst and for that he actually feels a bit ashamed. His composure is something he prides himself in, and whether or not it's understandable that he lost it he doesn't like other people bearing witness to those times.
Not that he thought she would or that anyone would really care, but she hasn't told anybody about Hod or even brought up that day when Asch returned once; for that, Guy is extremely grateful. He apparently repays this favor of hers by sticking his nose into her business and attempting to play matchmaker between she and Vash. He thinks her denial is super-cute, and encourages her to sieze the day and get with Vash For Serious.

They didn't really get along at first, but Guy can respect someone of her type. She seems to be the very blunt, very honest and probably very cold type of individual that Guy very, very rarely wishes he could be. Then again, she seems almost as inconsistent as he is; one entry, he's riling people up and she's scolding him for the fact that he's causing unrest, and the next he's pointing out that she's being condescending and she's pointedly neglecting the finer aspects of tact. They have a very strange rivalry going on here...if you can call it that.
Lately though, they've come to joking about said "rivalry" and about overcoming their mutual distaste to actually be pleasant with one another. Guy thinks she's charming in her own sort of way, and though he really has no clue what she thinks of him he thinks maybe she doesn't dislike him as much as she first did. If it turns out that they can't get along he won't be too broken up, but he also likes the idea of counting her amongst his acquaintances at the very least. Also damn the girl is pretty fine.

This little girl is apparently that dog's caretaker? Guy's not sure, but she's charming and really cute and despite her devotion to that boyfriend-stealing dog Guy likes her well enough. Polite little bug thing.

Nami is that girl. The one that Guy might be interested in if things were just a little different. As it is she's beautiful, intelligent and fun to be around. She's receptive to his flirting but knows not to take him seriously, and she worries but doesn't pry; two wonderful traits that, if he were looking, would be found in his ideal woman.
Nami is actually one of those very few people that Guy wants to talk to about his past. Not that he wants to sit her down and feed her his autobiography, but if the topic comes up he'll talk instead of dodging. He doesn't mind her seeing his darker side, and though he'd deny it to his dying day there's something relieving about being able to tell someone about Hod and know you won't get those horribly sympathetic stares because of it. He gets the feeling that if he were to tell her, Nami would just accept it and move on with their friendship, the same as ever.

Regal is kind of fun; he's like this nice big bear that isn't exactly a pushover, but kinder than your average...bear-man. Regal caught him lying through, and gave Guy a right talking-to. Guy imagines Regal is kind of what a father or a big brother would be like.

Vash the Stampede
He seems to get into a lot of trouble, poor guy. But Meryl loves him and believes in him, and from what little conversation they've had Guy thinks he's a good person. He's a little enigmatic really; comes off as something of a bumbler, but there's no way Meryl would adore someone that much if he wasn't special. He's someone to watch, at least.
Yuan
LACKEY. Guy always seems to engage in deep, thought-provoking conversations and comes to a conclusion regarding potential research methods...only to divert Yuan elsewhere. He's not sure if this makes him a middleman or makes Yuan his field researcher, but either way it works out pretty good for him in the end.
