I've de-lurked to ask a question that has become important to a very, very long fic and I'm not sure how I missed thinking about this before.
Has anyone figured out what year Cain's grandfather died? I'm baffled by the line (sorry, at work don't have my book with me) where Cain states at that time his mother was still alive. Is he actually referring to Lenora? (I can't figure out why in Godchild he would still call her that) That would make him pretty young ... like four? He looks older or maybe that's just the art style.
