Giles sat completely still and waited for Wesley to read the sonnet to him. As the other man started to read, Giles relaxed and sat back on the sofa. The words washed over him and he smiled. The sonnet was lovely, especially given the clan's history of violence. Perhaps not all of them went along with what society expected them to do.

"That was rather lovely," he comment when Wesley finished and looked over at him. "It makes you wonder who the author was. It's obvious they were madly in love with someone, or something." He pondered it for a moment before shaking his head. "Perhaps later you can look it over more. But, for right now, I rather do this."

Leaning forward, and being careful not to bump the scroll, Giles gave Wesley a slow and deep kiss. When they broke apart for air, he smiled at the other man before reaching over for the scroll. He didn't want it to be ruin by accident. Once he had it rolled up, he carefully slipped it back into its holder. He then placed the holder back in his bag, along with the gloves.

Giles then turned and smiled at Wesley. "Thank you for sharing that with me," he whispered as he reached over and slipped his fingers under Wesley's brace. He then used them to pull the man closer to him. "If that clan can find love, then I think it's possible for anyone to find it." He slid his hands up until they landed on Wesley's tie. With one hand, Giles loosened it and undid the first few buttons of the other man's shirt.

He then leaned forward and softly pressed his lips to Wesley's neck as his pulled the braces off his shoulders. Once the braces were down, Giles' fingers then started to work on unbuttoning the rest of Wesley's shirt as he continued to kiss his neck.

"I'd say...this was probably a younger member of the clan who didn't agree with the way they did things, especially when it came to relations with others. A very eloquent younger member, though," Wesley said, scanning the text again. The words seemed to burn into his memory, and he knew that it would likely be a long time before he forgot them. If ever.

He finally lifted his eyes up when he felt Giles moving, just in time for his lips to be caught in a deep kiss. Wesley moaned softly as his heart started beating faster. He couldn't remember any of his previous kisses being like this - there was something amazing about them, something he couldn't put his finger on. After they parted, he let Giles take the scroll and put it safely away. Though he was a bit sad to let it go, just having been able to hold it and read it had been enough.

"I--I should be thanking you," Wesley started to protest at Giles' thanks before he was pulled forward by his braces. He shuddered as he spoke of finding love, wondering if this could be what he was finding. It was so soon, but this was so unlike anything he had ever experienced before. This man understood the life he had led, the work he did, how he felt. "I think it might be..."

Once the braces were off his shoulders and arms, he wrapped his arms under Giles', returning his kisses. He couldn't think of anything else except wanting to be with this man, feel his touch again. He ran his hands over his back and down to the waistband of his trousers.

"I've...I can truly say, I've never met anyone like you before," he said softly against his lips. "I don't know what it is, but I don't think I've ever wanted to with anyone the way I want to be with you now."
