another week...
Friday was brutal. I don't think I did well with the movie pass giveaway, but I plan to be much better for this week's. I went down to a warehouse for their sale, looking for a new couch. Sale didnt' start till 4. Picked up the cake for the shower and couldn't resist buying treats for myself.. my god that bakery has some yummy looking stuff in it... and it's cheap (I got a huge blueberry danish and a brownie for $1.23) and came back to work. Left the shower as it was starting to deliver Workforce Lunch and came back just before my gift got opened, which was the last gift I believe. Tried to get my work done but suddenly everyone under the sun (or at least in the station) needed me for something or another, so I had to help them all first. Left just before 5 to try to go back to the sale, had to wait in line outside in the cold for a while. Found nothing in the price range I wanted. Back to the station before 6, did some more work, did my VT and finally at 7:30 headed home for the night.
Luckily I'd already arranged to postpone our date until Saturday.
Saturday I got up and went to work at the dealership. Long day, really tired but got through it. Went to dinner at Philthy McNasty's and played pool at Dooley's. I very much liked that he didn't let me win... so in 10 games or so, I won just one haha! But I wouldn't have it any other way. I like to play fair and square. It was a lot of fun. I very much love how I can tell he likes me. He stares at me with this little grin on his face, or touches me lightly, plays with my hair. I just love it.. .it makes me feel so good to know someone's into me. We're going to get together again soon, just didn't set a date this time. But as he put it, "the sooner the better" which is cute.
Sunday I woke up at 7 for no particular reason, then had stomach trouble. Then at 8 one of the PT's called me, he couldn't get into the garage. So, I jumped out of bed, threw on comfy pants and a sweatshirt over my pjs and ran out the door... stopped for lock de-icer and was at the station probably about 10 mins after he called. And he was gone. So, I went grocery shopping, and went back home. 9:30 the other PT guy called, he couldn't remember the code for the door. But in the time it took me to listen to his voicemail and call him back, our sales manager let him in. (John was there when I got there at 8, he thought it was Monday, haha) I got up and made it to the furniture sale before it started, but had to wait in line. Could have jumped the line really, since we were doing a remote, I could have just said I was here to talk to my employees. But I thought that'd be rude. Of course, this one lady in line was pretty rude. A bunch of people crowded inside the doors, waiting to be let in for the sale. So the outer door was held open by others in line (the people right in front of me). This lady turns and says "It's cold in here. Can you shut that door?" like... seriously... hello, we're standing outside in the bitter cold and you're inside, in the far corner no less and you're cold? Too fucking bad stupid bitch. So, they shut the door and then we just made fun of her. It was actually quite fun... the people further back in line must have thought that the group of us (about 7) all came together, with all our laughter and stuff.
Didn't find a couch again, but that's okay. Went to Liquidation World and spent a lot of money somehow. Only I can go into a junky store and spend so much. Oh well. I bought hair products, a road atlas, a cookbook, air freshners, etc. And then I went home and dyed my hair dark blonde. But I think it's darker than that. I just hope it looks okay. I can't tell. Only Felicity's seemed to notice the hair's different. Maybe it's not that different, which is fine cuz that's kinda what I was aiming for.
And now it's today. And it's just a regular Monday for the most part. Nothing exciting to report as of yet.
