Time for my monthly post I guess.....here goes...Its gonna be good....maybe....erm....yeah
June..Recital went very well.....pretty smooth and fun for me..Then came officer camp.. So much fun. We went to Marble Falls for a couple of days just to relax, chill, that sort of fun. Officer camp we learned alot and learned so many dances. Lin (rettes director) knew that I loved Modern and Lyrical dance so much that she let me take those two classes, and omg the dances are beautiful. The modern is called Original Skin and its about (yes dances are about things..) becoming who you are and being an idividual, sorta like not having someone controlling you, like a bf. The Lyrical is called part of me and its about how someone isnt understanding to anothers feelings and not having what it takes to be a part of me. Very emotional and pretty. Then we (my family and I) went down to Marble Falls for 3 weeks and went to alot of little fun towns to just chill..It was fun but I missed all of my friends.
July.. I started cougarette workouts July 17th with the new team. Its been very fun. The first week I taught a kick routine and this week Im teaching a conditioning workout (kind of like a cardio working with crunches, jumping jacks, stuff like that.) Weve learned our first pep rally dance and its really cute and fun. Everyone needs to come!
Today...I had rettes from 9-11 then I showed my friend Maxi Brannen around the campus because shes coming to cooper next year and wants ot be a cougarette. It was fun because I got to see all my drumline buddies practicing. Then I walked around to where the band was practicing and got to see all my band buddies and LAUEREN!! I was soo happy!! Ive missed her so much, she has no idea.. I didnt realise how much Ive missed all my friends till I saw them today. We were acting like no time had passed, and that made me sooo incredibly happy!! I cant wait till school starts!!
One thing that has sucked....I had to let go of alot of people this summer....Rylee... I dont know what I will do without her. I miss her so much already. Last night i read the note she wrote in my yearbook and started bawling. Manny..ELK.. haha yeah, hes been so great to me since I started cooper and I valued his friendship soo much. Im gonna miss that guy. All the seniors.. This year is gonna suck without them. This one person who I wont metnion for the sake of his sanity (lol he knows what Im talking about) Shawn..The one person who could really make me laugh without trying to be funny. Lunch will never be the same.
But I still have others to be around and to make me laugh, I cant wait to be with them again.
