COUGAR RIDGE GAZETTE // SUNDAY, February 3, 2008
Good morning, Cougar Ridge!
Sorry for the lateness today, but there are big changes coming to Cougar Ridge. I received very little feedback about moving to a new venue. I decided that meant no one cared, so I'm doing it. This week's entry (or episode, as I'll call them from now on, thank you, Mr. Skorzeny) will be on cougarridgegame, instead of here. I will post a link on this journal to the new entry, so if you forget, you'll be able to find it easily.
I'm going to ask all current characters to fill out new introductions on the community when you have time (but please don't forget to do it). The new directory post is here.
Another change (and I already feel Adriana's "Daggers of Death Gaze +3") is that I'm increasing the word count on entries to 600. However! This is a hard limit. If you post over 600 words, I will delete your entry, and you'll have to repost. I will keep copies of all entries that I delete. If you need it back to rework, let me know, and I'll send it to you.
I have still not had a chance to rework the map, so for now, we're still using the old one on cougar_ridge_v2. That will change. Really.
So, on to the regular Gazette!
We have a couple new characters this week: Collin Thomson and Sophie Cole. Please make them feel welcome, or not as your character's disposition allows.
Young Master Vernon and Miss Aspen have made appearances, but we're still missing Lea, Farah, Diego, Noah, and Josh. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of these characters, please let me know in the usual manner (no homing pigeons this week, please, the cats ate the last one).
I would like to remind you all that I have an open door, and if there are problems, you need to let me know. I don't care if that problem is with me, or with another player, or with the game format. Please tell me, because if you don't, I have no way of knowing. I failed Omniscience in god school. I can't help if I don't know what's wrong.
I have more work to do on getting the community up and running in time for tonight, so that's all you're getting from me right now.
